So, close!!
It's amazing to see how fast children develop in the first year of their lives. They learn so much and accomplish so much that it really makes you think about how incredible it is that they can learn so quickly! I love watching her grow! She is turning into the sweetest little angel, that can almost crawl around on the floor all by herself!
I'm not sure I'm ready for it...
Not going to lie.
The house is baby proofed, but I've sure taken advantage of her not being able to follow me around the house, get into things, etc... Again, I'm not ready.
But so many things are changing this year where, who can say they are ever ready?! Were any of you ready for when your children started walking? Or maybe you don't have children, were you ready for moving in with your boy/girlfriends? Ready to move away from home? Ready for life AFTER school? I really don't feel like we are truly ready for these experiences. Well, not as adults, anyhow.
Myka, however, is ready! You can tell in her eyes, the way they light up when she bends over to try and make that move to get to point 'A' to point 'B'. It's so easy for her to just get up and go! I love her innocence and her ambition. I pray she keeps that ambition and drive! She is truly an inspiration to me.
As a parent, I know I am supposed to encourage that drive and ambition all throughout her life... Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can do that?
